Today his role focuses on managing the bookings and arranging every detail of the trip with you —from the date to the surprise you may be planning— and making sure everything is perfect when you step aboard. He still goes out sailing, but saves it for very special occasions; the day-to-day at the helm is handled by his trusted skipper.

And there's something you notice the moment you set foot on deck: the boat is his and he looks after it personally all year round, from the engine to the teak. This season, the helm is in the hands of Gabriel, a Galician captain with a deep passion for sailing. He started sailing very young in the Rías Baixas and, after years exploring his home waters, built his professional career in the Mediterranean —especially in Ibiza and Formentera—, where he gained extensive experience at the helm of sailboats, catamarans and motor boats of medium and large size. He is also a qualified professional skipper.

With Gabriel at the helm you benefit from his real knowledge of the sea: he welcomes you at the pontoon, decides the best route with you depending on the day's wind, involves you in the manoeuvres if you fancy it, and knows the anchorages where the water is calmest. His experience means safe sailing and reaching the most idyllic coves and unforgettable corners of Menorca.
