Before You Set Sail
Your Questions, Answered
Where do the sailing trips depart from?
All our trips depart from the Mahón harbour, in Menorca. Once your booking is confirmed we send you the exact boarding point via WhatsApp so you arrive without getting lost.
Is the trip really private?
Yes, 100%. The whole sailboat is for your group: we don't share the trip with strangers. You choose who you sail with, up to a maximum of 12 people.
How many people can come on board?
Up to 12 people. The sailboat, a 12-metre Elan Impression 384, is spacious and comfortable: we've welcomed groups of three generations, with grandparents, couples and children, and everyone has sailed at ease.
What does the price of the trip include?
Everything you need: professional skipper, fuel, insurance, final cleaning, paddleboard and snorkel gear. The price you see is the final price, with no surprises or hidden extras. Check the prices in our rates section.
Do I need sailing experience?
None at all. The skipper takes care of everything. That said, if you fancy experiencing the sailing first-hand, you can help hoist the sails or take the helm for a while: it's one of the things our guests remember most.
What if I get seasick on the boat?
We sail along the coast at a calm pace and with long stops anchored in sheltered coves, where the boat barely moves. If you know you're prone to seasickness, it helps to have a light breakfast, look at the horizon and ask at your pharmacy for a remedy to take in advance.
Can children come?
Of course: families are welcome and children are usually the ones who enjoy it most, especially with the paddleboard and snorkelling at the stops. There is certified safety equipment on board; let us know their ages when booking so we have everything ready.
What should I bring on the trip?
Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. On board we go barefoot or wear shoes with a clean white sole. For sunset trips, add a light jacket. You can bring your own food and drink to enjoy at the stops.
Can I bring my own food or cook on board?
Of course. You can bring whatever food and drink you like; on board you'll have plates, glasses and all the tableware you need. If you'd rather not worry about it, we also offer the option of arranging a catering service if you let us know in advance. As for cooking, during day trips the use of the galley is restricted for safety and comfort reasons while we are sailing.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?
Safety and your enjoyment come first. The skipper checks the forecast every day and, if the sea or wind don't allow a safe and pleasant trip, we let you know in advance and find the best solution together, starting by moving the booking to another date.
North route or south route? Which do I choose?
Both are spectacular and very different: the north is wild, with Illa d'en Colom and the Favàritx lighthouse; the south is the postcard of turquoise waters, with Punta Prima, Binibeca and the Isla del Aire. The skipper will recommend the best one based on the wind and sea conditions of your day, so you always sail along the most comfortable coast. Discover the details of both on our routes.
Can I add live music or celebrate a special occasion?
Yes. We offer trips with a private live piano concert by composer Gabriel Peso, and we organise marriage proposals, anniversaries and bespoke celebrations. Tell us your plan when booking and we'll prepare it with you.

The quickest way is to message us on WhatsApp at +34 652 359 096 with the date you have in mind; we confirm availability right away. You can also use the contact form on the website and we'll reply straight away.
